Race Summary

Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) converted pole into victory at the Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland ahead of Ai Ogura (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) and Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) to complete the podium. Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing) carries a narrow 2-point championship lead. It was a tough day further back, with 5 drivers failing to finish the race. Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) qualified 7th but started the race from P10 after a grid penalty.
